I have been a public school teacher since 1999, and have enjoyed a lot of that experience in the 8th grade.  As I put forth my efforts in developing a detailing gig that my friends can continue for me in fall and reach out through a social media campaign for others who want to participate in the opportunities the Greenway product offers, I see that my teaching career has been a good training ground.

In education, we learn to keep things simple.  We have many tasks at hand at all moments, many personalities with differing needs at various moments.  Teachers quickly learn to prioritize and balance their time.  As I type tonight, I think of how many times I have sat preparing an extension to the next day's lesson, writing an exam,  recording feedback on lab reports as the scenes on the television occupied the back of mind.  Right now John my husband of thirteen years has chosen Abraham Lincoln; Vampire Hunter as my distraction.  Its not so interesting right now.  

This week threw me road blocks, like a a fire drill during an exam.  Yesterday I blew out a tire on my car.  The whole ordeal cost me $32.00 for the replacement, thanks to the insurance we bought at Firestone, the covered tow from Geico, AND several hours of work.  Yet, I do realize, entrepreneurs are always thinking about their business as I made good use of the smart phone as I waited for my ride home.

  This morning my detailing offer for a local venue got cancelled.  I was disappointed, accepted the situation and then went on to the next thing.  I posted that I had an opening.  A long time friend from my husbands fire department messaged me..and so it goes.  Sheena, my son, and I detailed her Hyundai Sante Fe.  She purchased a quart of the Greenway for her husbands truck - enough for 14-16 average cars.  That was easy..the product sells itself! Bonus..I got to see Jess, Andrew and Dee too!  Finally, tonight at the local supermarket, I planted the seeds with another person in my circle of influence for another possible opportunity.
